Three steps

How it works

No account, no download, and nothing leaves your device.

  1. Type your text

Enter a word, a name, or a whole bio into the box. Everything converts on your device as you type: nothing is uploaded to a server.

  2. Pick a style

Every style updates live so you can compare them side by side. Search by name, filter by category, or star the ones you want to keep.

  3. Copy and paste

One tap copies the styled text to your clipboard. Because it is Unicode rather than a font file, the styling travels with the text wherever you paste it.

The styles people search for by name

Out of hundreds of styles, these are the ones people search for by name: the alphabets behind “bold text generator”, “cursive font” and their like. Here is what each is actually good for.

  • 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚

    Bold

The single most reached-for style here. It reads as emphasis rather than decoration, and it renders identically on every device, which is why it survives being pasted anywhere.

  • 𝐴𝑢𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑎

    Italic

A lighter touch than bold, for a subtitle or a line that should feel considered rather than shouted.

  • 𝒜𝓊𝓇ℯ𝓁𝒾𝒶

    Cursive Script

The flowing, handwritten look most people mean when they ask for a "fancy font". Best on a short name or headline: a full sentence in script slows reading down.

  • 𝔄𝔲𝔯𝔢𝔩𝔦𝔞

    Gothic Fraktur

The heavy, gothic look behind tattoo, metal and streetwear branding. Suits a display name far better than body text, where the dense letterforms are harder to read at speed.

  • ᴀᴜʀᴇʟɪᴀ

    Small Caps

Small, evenly sized capital letters instead of a mix of cases. A quietly premium look that a lot of bios use without the visitor consciously noticing why it reads as polished.

  • Ⓐⓤⓡⓔⓛⓘⓐ

    Bubble (Circled)

Every letter boxed in a circle. Playful and instantly recognisable, which is exactly why it shows up so often in usernames and bios.

  • Ḁ̡ͥȗ̯͠r̨̗̔ě̪͟l͓ͨ͠ȉ̛̫a̧͉͑

    Glitch

Corrupted-looking text built from combining marks stacked onto each letter. A strong, attention-grabbing choice for gaming names and edgy usernames.

  • 𝙰𝚞𝚛𝚎𝚕𝚒𝚊

    Monospace

Every character the same width: the look of code and terminals. A distinct, minimal choice that reads as deliberate rather than decorative.

Type your own word into the full generator to see any of these instantly.

Real searches

Already have a caption in mind?

Some of the most common searches that lead here are not a single word: they are a whole caption or bio line someone already has in mind. A few real ones, each rendered in a style that fits its tone.

  • 𝓁𝒾𝒻ℯ 𝒾𝓈 𝓅𝓇ℯ𝓉𝓉𝒾ℯ𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓃 𝒾𝓉 𝓂𝒶𝓎 𝓈ℯℯ𝓂

    Cursive Script

A flowing script for a soft, reflective line.

  • 𝖛𝖊𝖓𝖎 𝖛𝖎𝖉𝖎 𝖛𝖎𝖈𝖎

    Bold Gothic

Heavy blackletter for a short, declarative motto.

  • 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑑, 𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑑

    Italic

A quieter, understated style for a personal line.

  • 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐭

    Bold

Plain bold weight for a statement meant to be read fast.

  • ᴘ ᴀ ᴛ ɪ ᴇ ɴ ᴄ ᴇ ɪ ꜱ ᴛ ʜ ᴇ ꜱ ᴏ ʟ ᴜ ᴛ ɪ ᴏ ɴ ᴛ ᴏ ᴇ ᴠ ᴇ ʀ ʏ ᴛ ʜ ɪ ɴ ɢ

    Small Caps Spaced

Wide letter spacing gives a calm, deliberate pace.

  • ⓨⓞⓤ ⓐⓡⓔ ⓔⓝⓞⓤⓖⓗ ⓙⓤⓢⓣ ⓐⓢ ⓨⓞⓤ ⓐⓡⓔ

    Bubble (Circled)

A soft, rounded look for a gentle affirmation.

Have your own line? Type it into the generator above and try it across every style at once.

The short answer

Why you can paste these anywhere

The question behind every one of these tools, answered properly.

These are not real fonts. They are separate Unicode characters that happen to look like styled letters, which is exactly why you can paste them into apps that give you no font settings at all.

When you type hello, a font file would redraw those same five letters. This tool instead swaps each one for a different character that already exists in Unicode:

hello𝒽ℯ𝓁𝓁ℴCursive Script
hello𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨Bold

One practical consequence worth knowing: because these are unusual characters, screen readers can announce them oddly and search may not match them. Keep anything essential (a call to action, your real name) in plain text, and use styled text for accents.

What happens to each letter
You typeYou copyHU+1D407𝐇iU+1D422𝐢!unchanged!
Hi!𝐇𝐢!

The bold “H” is not the letter H in a bold font. It is a separate character, U+1D407, that Unicode drew to look bold. That is why it survives being copied into an app with no font settings: the styling is baked into the character, not applied on top of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a stylish font generator?

It is a free online tool that converts your normal text into fancy Unicode characters that look like different fonts: bold, cursive, bubble, glitch and more. You can copy the result and paste it anywhere, including apps that do not let you change fonts.

How do these fonts work if apps do not support custom fonts?

The tool does not install a font. Instead it swaps each letter for a look-alike character that already exists in Unicode. Because the styling is part of the text itself, it travels wherever you paste it.

Is it free and safe to use?

Completely free, with no account required. All conversion happens in your browser: your text is never sent to a server.

Where can I use the generated fonts?

Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Discord, WhatsApp, Twitter/X, YouTube, gaming names like PUBG and Free Fire, and most other apps that accept text input.

Why does my styled text sometimes show up as a box or question mark?

Every character here is a real, currently assigned Unicode code point, so nothing on this site produces a box. That happens on the OTHER end: the device or app someone is reading on is old enough, or its installed fonts are limited enough, that it has no picture for that particular character. It happens more with unusual styles than with common ones like bold or italic. The Font Comparison tool shows a device-support estimate for every style, so you can check before using one somewhere it needs to display reliably, such as a resume header or a work profile.

Can I make stylish text a different colour?

Not through this generator, or any Unicode-swap tool: colour is a formatting property, not a character, so no combination of letters can carry its own colour. Pasted text always shows up in whatever colour the app around it is already using. A handful of platforms have their own separate, built-in colour features for specific spots: Instagram's Stories Type tool has a colour gradient slider, Facebook auto-offers a coloured background on short text-only posts under about 130 characters, and Discord renders 8 text colours inside a specially formatted code block. Those are native features you switch on inside that app, not something a copy-pasted style produces.

Ready to stand out?

Every style is free to copy, and nothing here asks you to sign up.
